you dont need a scaffolders card to get your cscs card, all you do is pay about 20 quid answer some questions and there is your card! but a scaffolders card is cscs so all youd have to do is the test and you 1 day assessment and you'll get your scaffolders card!

I will stand corrected but, it sounds as if you need to complete and submitt your portfolio and then attend subsequent final assesement. Have you a work based recorder who could help you with this??
Hi, im new to this site and im looking to get a cscs card, ive been scaffolding for 12 years now and have never really had a need for one until now, ive been to college and passed both part1 and part2 but never got round to doing the coarsework, i have the certificated for passing but not an actual scaffolding card, thing is the way im reading it (if im correct) is that i need a scaffolders card to get cscs card, is this right?? Any ideas on how and where to go from now??? Craig.
